    About the Organization:
    Women’s World Banking (WWB) seeks to alleviate global poverty by expanding the economic assets, participation and power of the poor, especially women. WWB is a global network of 54 microfinance providers and banks, working in 30 countries to bring financial services and information to low-income entrepreneurs. Its mission is to expand the economic assets, participation, and power of poor women as entrepreneurs and economic agents by opening their access to finance, knowledge and markets.

    About the Job:
    WWB is looking for Credit Products Manager who will be responsible for introducing credit products into microfinance providers that include cash flow based individual loans into group lenders or banks that are downscaling; in both urban and rural areas.

    Tasks and Responsibilities:

    - Introduce new lending products to leading MFIs;
       
    - Coordinate with relationship managers and MFIs to identify project needs and develop customized solutions;
       
    - Determine staff resourcing and scope of projects, develop work plan, oversee implementation team, communicate with client institutions in conjunction with relationship managers, and manage high quality delivery of projects;
       
    - Integrate external consultants into project teams, providing direction and oversight;
       
    - Provide training to staff and external consultants on content and delivery on product offerings;
       
    - Apprentice other WWB staff in content area;
       
    - Promote collaborative working relationships and team approach within own team and across teams to ensure client institution satisfaction with WWB's service and successful project execution;
       
    - Work with research team to ensure products successfully reach women;
       
    - Coordinate and supervise work with the development and finance teams to prepare performance reports to the project funder;
       
    - Build the WWB practice in designing individual loans and rural loans that reach and impact women;
       
    - Work with director of microfinance products to develop a comprehensive point of view in their area including introducing customer sensitive lending products and service delivery channels;
       
    - Forge and coordinate strategic alliances with other value chain actors in the rural sector to deliver high quality holistic services;
       
    - Develop downscaling strategy for banks;
       
    - Develop a consultant pool that can work on different specialist areas required for successful introduction of individual and rural loans, including IT consultants for alternative distribution channels, training specialists, gender specialists etc;
       
    - Work with the development team to develop proposals to fund additional work;
       
    - Maintain mastery of current thinking and innovations;
       
    - Work to capture innovation and learning from work with client institutions for dissemination to the broader microfinance sector;
       
    - Develop new credit offerings that build off of and expand existing offerings.

    Qualifications:


    - At least 7 years of microfinance experience, Latin America preferred;
       
    - Extensive experience either running assessment based individual lending operations targeting low income populations or significant experience as a consultant helping institutions run the same, preferably in either microfinance or in a bank(s) with a poverty focus;
       
    - Excellent project management skills;
       
    - Bilingual in Spanish and English;
       
    - Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or International Relations or related degree;
       
    - Excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as strong interpersonal skills;
       
    - Significant experience in developing and implementing financial services in rural areas and developing strategies to provide sustainable services to small farmers and women in rural areas.
