About the Organization:
ACCION Texas is a non profit, multi state microfinance company and small business lender that helps entrepreneurs start, stabilize and grow their businesses. It is based in San Antonio with operations in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas. ACCION Texas is dedicated to increasing incomes and creating jobs in low income communities by providing micro entrepreneurs with access to credit and business support services not available from the commercial banking sector.
About the Job:
ACCION Texas is looking for Associate Programmer to assist IT department troubleshooting software and hardware related issues. S/he will be based at headquarter office.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Plan, program and develop in house programs to work with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011;
- Plan, program, develop and update custom applications as required;
- Develop and maintain web based applications to integrate with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other software;
- Create and assist in building reports from SQL databases for the use in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Navision, and Portfolio Manager Software;
- Testing and training in developed applications/software;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology required;
- More than 2 years of experience with responsibility for end to end implementation of a project (Initiation through deployment);
- Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics CRM;
- Familiar with Navision and SharePoint are optional;
- Familiar with ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#.NET, including the use of program classes,creation of DLLs,SQL Server databases 2005 and above, SQL language/script, ADO.NET;
- Experience working with 2005 SQL server reporting services and stored procedures or ability to master such;
- Familiar with Visual Basic for macro script in Excel programming;
- Experience with Windows 2003/2008 server and Windows Vista/7 environment;
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, MS Exchange;
- Knowledgeable with Crystal Reports is optional;
- Experience in IT project management;
- Based knowledge of data and network security practices;
- Project management skills;
- Enjoy working with others in a teamwork environment;
- Prefer a small business, fast paced working environment;
- Strong organizational and writing skills;
- Enjoy maintaining/enhancing code to meet changing client/industry needs;
- Have a customer service orientation;
- Ability to interface with a variety of internal and external customers, both in writing and verbally;
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple applications.
