    • Capacity assessment of AMFIU-Uganda (under SEEP/TAARP, March 2005)

    iii. Produce training materials in different areas of microfinance operations and train trainers
    AFMIN achievements consisted of the following:
    • Production of training materials on HIV/AIDS, Client Protection, Governance for Networks and Human Resources Development for MFIs
    • Training of twenty-eight Evaluators on Network Capacity Assessment
    • Training of Five Trainers on Financial Ratio and Analysis
    • Training of two Trainers on Management Development Programme
    iv. Support Country-Level Network (CLN) strategy building, business planning and fund raising activities
    AFMIN provided support and technical assistance to the following country level networks:
    •   REGUIPRAM-Guinea
    • APIFM-Madagascar
    • GAMFINET-Gambia
    v. Coordinate exchanges visits and participation in key microfinance events with Country-Level Networks (CLNs) and other international organizations

    AFMIN coordinated the following exchange visits:
    • APIM-Togo exposure to GHAMFIN-Ghana Performance monitoring system and coordination (January 2008)
    • APIFM-Madagascar exposure to Consortium ALAFIA-Benin and APIM-Togo for setting an unique Microfinance network in Madagascar (November 2007)
    • RIM-Burundi exposure to Consortium ALAFIA-Benin Performance monitoring Tool and APIM-Mali Coordination (April 2006)
    • ZAMFI-Zimbabwe exposure to Uganda Regulatory and Supervisory Framework (July 2005)
    • GAMFINET-Gambia exposure to AMFIU-Uganda Performance Monitoring System (July 2004)
    • APIFM-Madagascar exposure to Mali National Policy and Coordination (December 2004)
